Let’s get into the idea of wearing harem pants…
It is an interesting piece that not everyone would wear. Let’s be forreal, if done wrong it could fall by the wayside and make an entire look go left. However, if done right it could be that piece of clothing you never thought you wanted. It’s 50/50, but we are going to focus on the positive. As with anything, you have to know how to wear it. Personally, I love loose-harem type of pants especially if they have a print. I own several of them and I am always excited to see how I am going to wear it next.
Since I love to mix and match here are a few ways you can feel comfortable wearing harem pants:
Forever21 Abstract Windowpane Harem Pants, Dorothy Perkins Tall Black Relaxed Boyfriend Blazer, Farfetch Rick Owens Stylised Biker Jacket, Topshop Moto Fitted Denim Shirt, Topshop Scallop Hem Textured Tee, Alexander McQueen Ivory Black Leather Sandal, Reneeze Women’s ‘Beata-4’ Lace-up Sneaker Booties, Farfetch Charlotte Olympia ‘dolly’ Platform Pumps, Nordstrom Manolo Blahnik ‘Soussaba’ Suede Polished Toe Flat, Label Lab Frankie Cropped Biker Jacket Black, Adidas Denim Trucker Jacket, Topshop Crepe Shaped Hem Tee, Miss Selfridge Crepe Crop T-Shirt Yellow, Farfetch Casadei High Heel Pumps, Nine West Black ‘Angellica’ High Heel Ankle Boots, Vince Camuto Clutch, Dorothy Perkins Black V Bar Structured Clutch, Rebecca Minkoff Leo Tote with Removable Clutch, Pashli Medium Satchel by 3.1 Phillip Lim
The important thing to remember is to embrace the pants. Although the ones I chose to feature are a print it does not mean you cannot mix it up in a few different ways. Black and denim are neutrals so they work perfectly and a pop of color is always a plus. When putting together a look with harem pants, they become the focus aka my base or neutral. This form of thinking helps to expand the options you pair it with. Metallic is a fun glitz to add to the look whether it’s in the form of shoes or a bag. Harem pants can be dressed up with fabulous pumps, sandals and booties or dressed down with wedges sneakers and flats. They are fun pants that you can play with for a variety of occasions. Again, these are just a few of my suggestions to help inspire some style inspiration.
Any thoughts on harem pants?
