For my Saturday date night with my love we decided to check out this spot called Taperia in Brooklyn Heights, NYC. I love tapas and a cocktail is always necessary so I was looking forward to the beautiful breezy night out until I had to get ready. I knew I wanted to wear my printed crop trousers from Zara that I recently got on sale, but I was iffy on what to pair it with. After struggling to get it together I realized that the issue wasn’t the clothes it was the jewelry.
Now anyone who knows me, knows I am a costume jewelry whore. I say that about every 2 weeks on this blog, but as crazed as I am about jewelry I lack a lot of silver jewelry. I am naturally attracted to gold and everything else, except silver. Although, in my world, most looks can be paired with gold accessories; once in a while a look just happens to look better with silver, gun metal or anything in that family. Surprisingly, I do not have a lot of those pieces in my collection which of course made me wonder how many people prefer one over the other.

Thankfully, I was able to pull the look together on a minimalist scale. I completed the look with my heroine lipstick I picked up recently at MAC Cosmetics.

These pants were a great steal from Zara. I love that they fit, look good and I got them on sale.
