New York Fashion Week is in full swing and the inspiration behind some of these collections are pretty amazing. This season I have been attending more events than shows, but there are two many beautiful pieces that need my attention.

This floral story complete with prints, vibrant hues and classic black and white describe a collection fit for a sophisticated and modern woman. The structure of these pieces mixed with elegant placement of the embroidery stand out in an interesting way this season for Escada. The collection attracts the loyal client and explores a subtle new direction to attract a new client. The neon green and black pant look is vibrant and flawless. Zac Posen took to the streets with this street style inspired collection. Posen used beautiful bright, pastel and dark hues in a romantic way. Separates stood out the most in this collection, but the sprinkle of gowns included were chic and functional. The mint green two-piece gown with a slide split is darling. This Venice inspired collection is one of my favorites thus far. The beautiful lace, tulle, soft and flirty pieces enhance the romanticism of the collection. Shoji illustrated a subtle sophistication and intricateness that left me captivated, which is easily shown in the beautiful black straight gown and the white and floral pencil dress. Stunning! American Sophistication is the tagline that comes to mind pertaining to Wu’s latest collection. The Jason Wu woman is a modern, classy adult who looks exceptional in white, black, navy and army green hues. Body flattering separates and chic dresses cohesively make his spring 15 collection strong and perfect for the upcoming season. View the full collection here courtesy of Style.com.

Bold colors, pinwheel inspired prints and transitional weather-friendly pieces stood out in newcomer Tanya Taylor’s spring 15 collection. Her pieces are fun, modern and reflect a subtle mod sophistication. I could easily see Zooey Deschanel wearing a few pieces. View the full collection here courtesy of Style.com.

Per her norm, Gwen Stefani brought her rock and roll fashionable edge to her latest collection. Experimenting with bold colors and cultural fusion, her pieces for spring 15 oozed downtown chic with an island vibe. Her standout pieces are by far her pant separates, but overall the collection embraced a casual, fun and edgy direction. View the full collection here courtesy of Style.com.
