For as long as I can remember I’ve always been into makeup. Granted my love for it has grown as I’ve gotten older, but I always thought there were something special about makeup, the art of doing it, wearing and owning it. My favorite MAC Cosmetic store was always the Soho location when they used to be on Spring and Wooster. I remember taking MAC runs on a weekly/bi-weekly basis with one of my best friends. We made friends with several makeup artists at the time and we were always able to enjoy certain perks and attend events along the way. Attending one of the numerous MAC events I used to attend is how I got one of my other best friends into makeup and she ended up becoming a MAC Artist herself. As you see, makeup is extremely important to my girls and I.Although things have changed and we have slowed up on our MAC runs, whenever I have to do one I always get excited because I know it’s going to be a trip whereI get dolled up, spend money I do not have and interact with some of my favorite artists. Today was no different. For those of you who are makeup and especially MAC lovers, you know that my favorite MAC in Soho moved a while back to Spring and Broadway and of late I’ve frequented the MAC in Flatiron/Chelsea more so than Soho. Today, I decided Soho would be my destination to find a new lipstick and blush. I ended up meeting the manager of the location who was not only extremely nice, but he hooked me up with the perfect blush and lipstick and dolled me up to continue with my day. Not only did I get some great products today, but I met a new artist that has now become my favorite go-to person.
