It’s been a few years since I’ve actually worked wardrobe for a bridal show or presentation. I remember the first time I worked wardrobe for a bridal season which happened to be a presentation for Vera Wang’s Bridal collection. I was blown away by the beauty of all the gowns and even more blown away by the process to get a model into such a gown with a 60 second window to change.
Pressure is an understatement, but it was well worth it. After working several seasons of bridal week and even more seasons of New York Fashion Week I can appreciate the process behind the scenes so much more. However; let me digress, I always anticipate the beauty to be seen within these collections and spring 2015 did not disappoint.
Bridal week Spring 2015 took off with glam, lace and lots of detail. Illusion backs, off the shoulder and non-traditional hues were also trending throughout the collections. There is never a dull moment watching gorgeous bridal gowns walk down a runway.
Here are some of my favorites, but you can view the entire collection here (WWD).
Monique Lhuillier Bridal Spring 2015
Kenneth Pool Bridal Spring 2015
Ines Di Santo Bridal Spring 2015
Carolina Herrera Bridal Spring 2015
Some of these are breathtaking don’t you think?
