Alexander Wang X H&M
I was wondering who H&M would collaborate with for their next designer collection and it was finally announced:
Alexander Wang will be H&M’s next guest designer.
I am excited to see what pieces the designer will come up with for the H&M customer. The collection will feature apparel and accessories for both men and women. It will launch in approximately 250 stores worldwide and online on November 6th. Can’t wait! Wang stated “I am honored to be a part of H&M’s designer collaborations. The work with their team is an exciting, fun process. They are very open to push boundaries and to set a platform for creativity. This will be a great way for a wider audience to experience elements of the Alexander Wang brand and lifestyle.” (Hm). I could not agree more.
I will front and center (on my laptop) on November 6th, will you?
25th Annual GLAAD Media Awards
This past weekend the 25th Annual GLAAD Media awards took place. The GLAAD Media awards is an event that recognizes and honors branches of the media for their representation of the LGBT community. There were many in attendance, but I had to take some time to showcase Lupita Nyong’o and Kat Graham’s looks of the night.
I am loving both of these looks…
Lupita’s Antonio Berardi dress was super chic and perfect for the show. She paired the dress with cobalt blue pumps for a cohesive look. We all know she’s always chic and fabulous so no surprise there. However, Kat Graham has hits and misses, in my opinion. I’m obsessed with her as an actress and dancer, but sometimes she pushes the envelope and it does not always go over well, but this look is AMAZING. I love when she dresses like this. Her printed crop top and skirt ensemble is fashion forward, interesting and extremely chic. She paired it with her Brian Atwood ‘Abell’ sandals and completed the look with a fresh face. She looks fantastic. I’ll take that skirt and top please.
