2014 has been an interesting year for me. I wouldn’t say that it went by in a blur, but it was filled with a whirlwind of events. One of the biggest events that occurred this year was the re-launch of my blog. The decision to start blogging full time was a no brainer that comes with a lot of work and dedication. Being able to juggle all of my jobs (full time fashion marketing professional / full time fashion blogger / part time personal shopper & stylist) has been NO easy task. Throughout this year I have learned to be more patient than I have ever been, to always trust in God and to believe in myself to my fullest capacity. Everything that should be happening is and I have to trust in that process as long as I continue to do my part. I am no stranger to hard work and although there have been a million hurdles I am still blessed to be able to TRY my hardest everyday. According to Yanni D is destined for more and I am truly blessed for the outlet it has given me to express myself and share bits and pieces of my life through fashion.
Taking my brand to the next level will continue to be my focus as I head into this new year. I could not agree more with the quote “2013 was practice, 2014 was a warm up and 2015 is game time.” I am totally READY to continue to make upward movements towards bigger and better things. A new year always provides a blank page for us to create every and anything we want. 2015 is definitely game time for me to do that and so much more, but also to ENJOY the process and continue to live life and not merely exist.
As we say goodbye to 2014 here are some of my best looks from this past year. As mentioned, I started documenting pieces of my personal style this year and I had some looks that I really loved. As my style continues to evolve I am excited to see what I come up with in 2015.
Thank you to my family, friends and of course readers who have followed my journey through my blog and continue to support myself and the process. I am forever humble, grateful and extremely blessed for the love.
Cheers to 2015, may it be prosperous and filled with love for us all. We definitely need more love in this world.
xoxo Yanni
