The BCBG Max Azria Fall 2016 collection was created with David Bowie and 80’s glam inspiration sprinkled together. Each piece took us into the world of a performer. Lubov Azria stated, “It’s the idea of performance, as a dancer or a singer. The performer was our muse, so there are bits of shine everywhere” as told to Vogue. The palette dominated with neutrals such as black, white, navy and grey with pops of cool tones such as reds. Designs included lurex tops and slashed leggings paired with a variety of looks in interesting ways. knitwear took on a modern yet complex aesthetic in the form of oversized sleeves and ruffles. The outwear oozed a bohemian vibe in the form of wool coats with intricate patchwork designs. Lastly to complete the collection, there were a few denim looks that were worked into the line up in giving us structured versatility. Check out the entire collection over at Vogue.
