The transparency of Christian’s collection increased my love for the pieces. The color palette started with white and transitioned into beautiful shades of green and blue. The patterns, embellishment and layers he created with these garments left me wanting more. Personally, his white pieces were lust-worthy especially the sleek off the shoulder dress above. Modern and provocative are two words that clearly define Altuzarra spring 15 collection. He drew inspiration from the films Rosemary’s Baby and Barry Lyndon, which were evident throughout his collection. Filled with checkered and striped inspiration, high slits, wrap dresses and mesh materials these pieces told a clear story of subtle sex appeal for the modern girl. Public School

Although quite low-key in presentation, Public School’s spring 15 collection was beautiful and precise. The palette of black and white with pops of blue, green and various prints told a chaotic story in a conservative way, which I appreciated. The menswear and womenswear were cohesive counterparts and the sleek coolness of the collection as a whole only heightened my interest in the brand. DKNY

The New York City Street vibe is what stood out the most during DKNY’s spring 15 collection. This city girl is cool, fashion forward and loves to take sportswear to new heights. Vibrant colors mixed with stripes, geometric patterns, layered knitwear, tea-length dresses and tube skirts are just a few noticeable trends within the collection. There is a certain casual feminity that can be seen in Yigal Azrouël spring 15 collection. Channeling inspiration from his surfing days his pieces are wearable with a comfortable look. The beautiful palm tree print and strategic cut outs mixed with dresses and several variations of a bomber jacket embody the endless summer nights feel Azrouël wanted to present.
