This past Friday, I had the pleasure of celebrating a birthday milestone with one of my dear friends. To bring in the big 3-0 we danced non-stop at Bembe (a hotspot in Williamsburg) and then headed over to Kinfolk 94 (another hotspot) to continue the party. Fun times were had with great friends, music, drinks and of course fashion.
Now for my look of the night….

I purchased this black and white asymmetrical dress a few weeks ago with the intention of wearing it for this occasion. However, for some reason on Friday I was not feeling it anymore for the night. I intended to just wear something else from my closet, but I came down with a classic case of “I have nothing to wear”. After hours of pulling a million pieces from my closet I ended up going back to my initial idea and clearly it worked out well.
