On Saturday I attempted to go shopping for my upcoming trip to Miami, but of course when I have a set list of what I need the stores have a different agenda.
Has that happened to any of you? You have the perfect vision of what you will need to complete a look, but then you can’t find it ANYWHERE. It’s almost like a conspiracy. Needless to say, I’ve had to change up looks in the past few days. Stay tuned for my Miami style diaries next week.
Moving along, since shopping for myself was literally a complete bust I spent the rest of my Saturday hanging with my boo. We completed shopping for Mother’s Day then indulged in some good caribbean food from Miss Lily’s in Soho, New York City. Although it was a bit on the colder side I still found an opportunity to snap some pics of my casual attire for the day.
I love a good maxi skirt and dug this older one out of my closet for the day. I decided to pair it with a black tank, some new cognac single strap chunky sandals, a denim jacket to fight the wind that day, a straw hat and a ton of accessories (per my norm).
For my upcoming getaway, my amazing hair stylist @monibdstylist hooked my hair up with a red ombre brazilian water wave curl pattern which I braided to the side for the day.
