Outfit of the Night: Watercolors

It’s been a while since I’ve posted an outfit of the night look, but last night definitely prompted one. I grabbed drinks with fellow blogger boo Kay from StylebyStory and then we popped into an event in l.e.s. It was such a beautiful night, after the rainstorm passed, that it seemed fitting to get some snaps in on my look.

My outfit of the moment was an array of watercolors, literally. I opted to wear one of my favorite skirts (that I only get the pleasure to wear every so often), paired with a tank and some heels I’ve actually never worn till now.

Since the skirt played on a bright color palette I pulled coral, maroon and beige from the base to play with. My coral tank was actually a simple cotton dress I chose to wear underneath.

I’ve been playing around with layering dresses and using them as a 2nd piece. I really wanted to wear a coral tank and since I could not find my actual tank in the moment, the dress worked out perfectly.
