So I am at that age where people in and near my circle are moving into that next chapter in their lives. That chapter that involves marriage and a baby carriage. Next year, I have a few people within my circle jumping the broom which means my maid of honor duties will come into play. With that being said, working on inspiration is a process that needs to start now in preparation for 2015. Thankfully, I was introduced to Lover.ly, an all-in-one resource where couples can discover the best wedding ideas, shop renowned designers, organize details, get expert advice and hire their wedding dream team. In my opinion, it is like a virtual wedding planner and wedding pinterest board in one. Very cool!
Through Lover.ly, wedding curation has never been more efficient and simplistic, which is why I was delighted when the team reached out to me to create a fashion board for a beautiful destination wedding in Italy. Italy was the ideal place for my inspiration because it oozes a soft indulgent type of romance to me. When I think of a dream wedding in Italy I think of the most picturesque view overlooking water. Imagine a beautiful warm day with love in the air as the bride struts down a long narrow walkway in the most breathtaking gown you can envision. In this case, I chose an ivory Oscar de la Renta Chantilly lace sweetheart gown with tiered tulle trumpet skirt. The detailing caught my attention immediately. It was executed effortlessly with a romantic flair.

To complete the look, I opted for embellishment with a bling factor. The dress is so elegant that a long train did not feel necessary to me. Not to mention, the styling from the hair to the bouquet is perfection. A simple yet beautiful headpiece with a short veil would work nicely to enhance the look. Next I paired the dress with these gorgeous ivory peep toe pumps laced with Swarovski crystals then added something old with these stunning vintage pearl earrings. Now any bride is ready for a stylish and romantic Italian inspired wedding.
